Classroom Technology
Classroom technology at Alliant is comprised of many different features and components that vary by campus and room to meet specific needs. Rooms may offer a LCD projector and DVD/VHS; desktop or laptop computer, iClassroom that includes a SMARTBoard with integrated audio or videoconference equipment. The links below will provide you with information for specific rooms at each of Alliant's California campuses. How do I connect my laptop to a SMARTBoard or LCD projector?
Most of our SMARTBoard classrooms are equipped with cables to accept a laptop connection. In other situations you may need to request for cables from the campus IT department or provide your own. Instructions for connecting a laptop to a projector.
Can I connect my Apple laptop to a SMARTBoard or LCD projector?
Yes, however, the Alliant IT department does not provide the video adapters due to the wide range of connector type options, depending upon the model of Apple computer. Apple to VGA adapter chart
