You may want to duplicate a particular activity in your course instead of recreating it over and over again. For example, you might have 5 videos to share. By duplicating the activity, all you will have to change is the name and link to the video. It is much quicker.
1. Login to your course and turn on editing in the top right-hand corner.
2. Click on "add activity" in the bottom right-hand side of the topic week (*note, if you are duplicating an existing item, skip to step 4).
3. Choose the activity that you want to create and click "add."
4. Click on the duplicate icon (shown in figure 1 below).

4. Click on the "edit" drop down and then click on the duplicate icon.
5. You will be given the choice to continue or cancel. You want to continue.
6. You will then be given the choice to edit the activity or return to the course. If you want to work on it immediately, choose edit now.
7. The name of the item that you duplicated will be automatically populated in the name field. This is great if you are only changing the number (e..g. Ch. 8, Ch 9., Ch. 10). So make sure that you change the name (see figure 2).
