Duplicate a Collaborate Session from one course into another one
It might help to know why you might want to do this. Say that another professor or speaker recorded a session in his or her course, but you want to share it with your students. Unfortunately, unless your students are enrolled in the other professor's course, he or she cannot access that link. This is a simple way around that barrier. Please follow the steps below to share the link on your page.
1. Login to the course that contains the Collaborate session.
2. Find the session and right click on the link.
3. Click "save link location."
4. Login to YOUR course now.
5. Turn on editing and, in the bottom right hand corner of the week where you want to add the session, click "add an activity or resource."
6. When the dialog box opens, scroll to the bottom and double click on URL (or single click and then click "add.")
7. Complete the areas in red.
8. In the URL field, paste the URL link (right click> paste, Ctrl "V" on a PC, or Command "V" on a Mac).
