Five9 Installation Guide
Check list:
- Windows computer with operational Internet and the rights you to install programs on it.
- Chrome or FireFox web browser.
- Oracle Java JRE 32 bit ver 8.231, download link below.
- Alliant Five9 and Alliant Salesforce accounts.
- Five9 Open CTI adapter for Salesforce, download link below.
Please check if you have Java installed, and if you do, uninstall it and reboot your computer. To check if you have java istalled:
Start/Settings/Apps and in the search window in on the right, type "java". If nothing comes up, you don't have Java installed.

Download Java 8.231 32 bit from https://moon.alliant.edu/software/java/jre-8u231-windows-i586
You'll need your Alliant email and password to be able to download the file.

To download Five9, Open CTI Adapter for Salesforce go to https://login.five9.com/, login with your Alliant Five9 credentials, click on "CRM Integrations", click on "Five9 Adapters for SalesForce", and scroll down to "Downloads", and click on "Open CTI Adapter for Salesforce" to download it.
Install it and it will start automatically.

- Chrome, click "Not secure" on the left from the address bar, and scroll to "site settings" and click it. It will open a new window. Scroll to the bottom of it to "Insecure content", choose "Allow" and close the windows. Refresh the salesforce page and your five9 login will appear.
- FireFox, open a new window. In the address bar type "about:config", once the config opens type "mixed" on the address bar. Find the value "security.mixed_content.block_active_content" and set it to "false" and close "about:config" window. If it is already "false", you don't need to change anything.
