- Select this link Foxit App Launcher (If you already have a browser tab logged into an Alliant SSO application, you will be logged into the Foxit site.)
- Select SSO Login
- Enter your @alliant.edu email address, and then select Sign In
- At the Microsoft login, enter your @alliant.edu email address again, and then select Next
- Enter your Alliant password, and then select Sign in
- You should be prompted for MFA approval, follow your normal process (note: your default method may be different than the example)
- You should now have access to Alliant’s licensed Foxit PDF Editor Cloud version. Select Open to launch the app.
The Foxit desktop application has been pushed to all licensed user's Alliant issued computer. If you are a licensed Foxit user and the application is not listed within your apps, please submit a Technology Support Request.

Please refer to the example below. The top checkbox will prompt the user for a password to open the document. By leaving this unchecked, you are allowing everyone read-only access to the PDF file. Checking the second box brings up the separate password prompt and permissions settings where you can adjust what can and cannot be done with the document without a password.

- Choose Protect > Sign & Certify > Place Signature.
- Press and hold the mouse button down and drag to draw a signature field for your signature.
- In Sign Document dialog box, choose a digital ID from drop-down menu. If you can’t find the specified digital ID, you will need to get a certificate from Certificate Authority (CA) or create a self-signed digital ID. For how to create a self-signed digital ID, please refer to HERE for specific steps.
