New Phones

A second phone will soon be sitting on your desk in preparation for transition to a new phone system.  Once the new phone system is fully completed:

This upgraded phone service allows users to:

·       Not be required to use a long distance code to dial out. 

·       This upgrade combines voice messaging and email messaging into one mailbox that can be accessed from many different devices.     ·       Users can read or listen to their messages from their email Inbox or by using Outlook Voice Access from any telephone.

Placing a Call -

  1. Press either a green "Line" button or the speaker icon to initiate a dial tone.
  2. Place a Call From Campus to an:
                    Internal Extension - xxxx
                    External # Within your Area Code - 9-xxx-xxxx
                    External # Outside your Area Code - 9-1-xxx-xxx-xxxx
                    External # Outside the US - 9-011-xx-xxx-xxx-xxxx (country code-area code-phone number) *Length of codes will vary
