Qualtrics
Qualtrics is a web-based survey and research platform used for academic research, offering a user-friendly interface to create, distribute, and analyze surveys and other data collection instruments. It allows faculty, students, and staff to gather data for research projects, collaborate on surveys, and analyze results. Qualtrics is particularly helpful for collecting quantitative data through surveys, but also offers features for qualitative research, such as textual analysis.
How Do I Get an Account?
Access to a Alliant University Qualtrics account is free to all current, active students, employees and staff with a valid Alliant email address. To receive an account all you need to do is log in to the system. If you do not already have an account, one will be created upon login.

I tried to login but my email has already been taken?
If you are getting this error it means that you have previously created a free, personal account with Qualtrics using your Alliant email. Qualtrics does not allow two accounts (a personal and university account) with the same email. To fix this:
- Export your existing surveys and save them somewhere
- Delete your personal account with Qualtrics.
- Log in to https://allliant.instructure.com (which will create a university account)
- Import your saved surveys into the university account
