5. Select the dates that you want to quiz to be made available to the students. *Note, the time is a 24 hour clock so if you want the quiz to begin at 5PM, that would be 1700.
6. You can allow a grace period here also. Make sure that you click "enable" for any option that you want to keep.
7. The next few boxes allow you to select a grade for the quiz/test, shuffling options, and the number of attempts for each question (shown in figure 2).

** Perhaps you want to load the quiz and prevent students from collaborating with one another to complete the test. Under the box "Question behavior" you can ask to shuffle the questions. It will also shuffle the answers. In other words, student would not be able to call one another and say, "what's the answer to #18?" These feature makes sharing answering very difficult. Another option is to add 100 questions for a 50 question test. The system will randomly pick 50 different questions for each student. Within those questions the answers will be randomized.
*Note click on the blue question mark for help on each option.

Creating a password for the quiz/test.
8. The display box allows more options that may or may not apply to your needs.
9. The next box down allows you to assign a password for the quiz. Perhaps you want to make the quiz available on moodle, but want users to enter a password to actually begin the test. I recommend making the password something simple.
10. This section also allows you to establish a restriction on reattempts (if your quiz allows it).

Although this is a lot of work to create, the nice thing is that you can shuffle the questions and add or delete as you see necessary.
