Some of the courses at Alliant do not require you to be enrolled by the professor. These are called "self-enroll." The most import part to a self-enroll course is knowing the correct name of the course.
1. Login to moodle at elearning.alliant.edu
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You will see a search box (shown left). Enter English placement exam or math placement exam (or the name of the course you want to self enroll.
