Installation guide: Five9 in browser for Salesforce Lightning
Open a browser and go to URL: alliant.lightning.force.com/lightning/page/home
Enter your Alliant's Salesforce username and password, and press the "Log In" button to enter Salesforce.
Wait for the main Salesforce page to load and press "Engage" as shown below.
Login with your Alliant's Five9 credentials.
Enter your Station ID Number.
Click on "Install Browser Extension".
Click on "Add to Chrome".
Click on "Add extension".
You'll see a message on your screen confirming the browser extension installation.
Go back to the Salesforce tab and refresh it. Click on "Download & Install Softphone". The download will start automatically.
Once the file "Five9Softphone" is downloaded, click on it to open it and to start the installation.
Double click on the icon.
Click on the "Open" button to allow the installation.
Click on "For me only".
You might get prompted a second time to click "OK".
Once the application is installed it might prompt you to install it again. Please click on "Open" and you'll get a notification the app is already installed.
That's confirmation message the SoftPhone app was installed.
Refresh your Salesforce browser page and click "Next".
Choose the Output and Input devices you'll use to make and receive phone calls via Five9 and click "Confirm".
You'll see a screen similar to the one below.
From the dropdown menu select the appropriate action you need.
