Setup Email on iOS Device

You can either:
​
  • Use the built-in iOS mail application:
  1. Go to “settings” / “mail” / “accounts” / “add account” / “Microsoft Exchange”
  2. Under “email” enter your full Alliant email address
  3. Press “next” at the top right corner
  4. Choose “sign in”
  5. Enter your Alliant o365/email password and authenticate it the usual way you are using, either via Microsoft authenticator, or a text message, in some cases maybe a phone call
  6. Once the account is authenticated choose what do you want to synchronize but “mail” is a must. The usual setup is “mail” and “calendars” in order your outlook email and calendar to get in sync with your iOS device.
  7. Press “save at the top right corner
  8. Exit “settings”
  9. Click the “mail” application on your phone and choose the account you entered in e. above.
  10. It will take a couple of minutes before your iOS device starts synchronizing
  • Install Microsoft Outlook application from App store:
  1. Enter “App Store” app on your ios device
  2. Choose “search” at the right bottom corner and type “outlook” in the search bar on the top followed by pressing the “search” button
  3. Install “Microsoft Outlook”. The installation speed and time depends on your iOS device version and your internet speed connection. It might take a while
  4. Once the “Microsoft Outlook” app is installed, open it
  5. Under “add account” enter your full Alliant e-mail address and press “add account” button
  6. Enter your Alliant o365/email password and authenticate it the usual way you are using, either via Microsoft authenticator, or a text message, in some cases maybe a phone call
  7. Once the account is authenticated, press “add”. You probably want to press “skip” after that if you do not want to enter more email accounts
  8. Press “turn on” to enable notifications
