"IBM SPSS Statistics" is a powerful statistical software platform Alliant International University licenses for academic use.
Alliant International University utilizes "IBM SPSS Statistics" for classroom instruction and data gathering/analysis.
For 2024-2025 academic year, "IBM SPSS Statistics" version 29 will be the standard. New "At Home" use authorization codes are available from July 1, 2024 until June 30, 2025 period via request. New licenses will be available for request after July 1, 2024. If you receive an expiration notice for your current SPSS 2023-24 license, there is a grace period of 30 days beyond June 30.
Alliant "IBM SPSS Statistics" on Campus Availability
"IBM SPSS Statistics" Premium Campus Edition, is installed and available for use on all Alliant classroom and open lab devices.
(Iincludes the following modules: Statistics Base, Advanced Statistics, Regression, Custom Tables, Data Preparation, Missing Values, Forecasting, Decision Trees, Direct Marketing, Complex Samples, Conjoint, Neural Networks, Bootstrapping, Categories and Exact Tests)
Alliant Desktop Devices
If you currently have "IBM SPSS Statistics" installed on an Alliant issued desktop device, your license for "IBM SPSS Statistics" will need to be updated from v27 to v29 for 2024-2025. If you receive an expiration notice upon startup of "IBM SPSS Statistics", please submit a service request.
Alliant Laptop Devices and IBM SPSS Off-campus Availability
"IBM SPSS Statistics" is available for Alliant issued laptops and/or personal desktop devices "At Home" use, to Alliant Core Faculty and to Alliant Students who are currently enrolled in a statistics (or statistics-related) course, or currently working on a dissertation. If you are currently using Amos v27 or a version other than v29, please submit a license request form below. If you are using an Alliant issued laptop, in addition to a license request, please also submit a service request for an IT representative to assist with the update from v27 to v29.
