Forget WiFi network
Choose an operating system below:
Note: Always, after forgetting SSID: "AlliantWiFi" or/and "AlliantStudent" and prior joining the device back to SSID: "AlliantWiFi" or "AlliantStudent", you must reboot your device
Android
- Open your device's Settings
- Select Network & Internet
- Select Wi-Fi
- Select Saved Networks
- Tap and hold on the network you want to forget
- Tap the trashcan icon labeled Forget
Chromebook
- Sign in to your Chromebook
- Select the time in the bottom right
- Select Settings
- In the Network section, select Wi-Fi
- Select Known networks
- Find the network you want to forget, then select More
- Select Forget
iOS/iPadOS
- Go to Settings
- Select Wi-Fi
- Tap the info button next to the network you want to forget
- Select Forget This Network
- Tap Forget to confirm
Apple MacOS Monterey and earlier
Apple MacOS Ventura and later
- Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top-right corner of the Mac menu bar
- Select Open Network Preferences
- Click Advanced
- Select a network from the list
- Click the – icon below the list to forget the network
Apple MacOS Ventura and later
- Choose Apple menu > System Settings.
- Click Wi-Fi in the sidebar.
- Click Details next to the network you're using.
- Click Forget This Network, then click Remove to confirm.

Microsoft Windows 11
- Click the network icon in the bottom right of the system tray
- Select Network & Internet settings
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings
- Select the network you want to remove under Manage known networks
- Click Forget
Microsoft Windows 11
- Open the Start menu and click the Settings icon
- Select Network & internet
- Click Wi-Fi in the left-hand menu
- Click Manage known networks
- Locate the network you want to remove and click Forget
