Forget WiFi network


​Choose an operating system below:

Note: Always, after forgetting SSID: "AlliantWiFi" or/and "AlliantStudent" and prior joining the device back to SSID: "AlliantWiFi" or "AlliantStudent", you must reboot your device

Android
  1. Open your device's Settings
  2. Select Network & Internet
  3. Select Wi-Fi
  4. Select Saved Networks
  5. Tap and hold on the network you want to forget
  6. Tap the trashcan icon labeled Forget

 
Chromebook
  1. Sign in to your Chromebook
  2. Select the time in the bottom right
  3. Select Settings
  4. In the Network section, select Wi-Fi
  5. Select Known networks
  6. Find the network you want to forget, then select More
  7. Select Forget

 
iOS/iPadOS
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Wi-Fi
  3. Tap the info button next to the network you want to forget
  4. Select Forget This Network
  5. Tap Forget to confirm 

 
Apple MacOS Monterey and earlier
  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the top-right corner of the Mac menu bar
  2. Select Open Network Preferences
  3. Click Advanced
  4. Select a network from the list
  5. Click the – icon below the list to forget the network

Apple MacOS Ventura and later
  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings.
  2. Click Wi-Fi in the sidebar.
  3. Click Details next to the network you're using.
  4. Click Forget This Network, then click Remove to confirm.

 
Microsoft Windows 10
  1. Click the network icon in the bottom right of the system tray
  2. Select Network & Internet settings
  3. Click Manage Wi-Fi settings
  4. Select the network you want to remove under Manage known networks
  5. Click Forget

Microsoft Windows 11
  1. Open the Start menu and click the Settings icon
  2. Select Network & internet
  3. Click Wi-Fi in the left-hand menu
  4. Click Manage known networks
  5. Locate the network you want to remove and click Forget
